lodge building has: dining room and bar; 2 lounge rooms; a gift shop/office;
kitchen and pantry/storeroom; bathrooms; and an attached storeroom. Internet
Wi-Fi is available throughout this area.
There are 6
cabanas (single, double and triple) and each has a private bath and porch area.
There is total accommodation for 15 adults plus room for children.
Other
buildings include the manager’s house; laundry room; storage room; staff
bathrooms; and generator room.
The
domestic area has been tastefully landscaped and the rest of the land is still
in jungle. There are hiking trails on the property and many fruit trees
including, orange, mango, coconut, banana, and pineapple.
A large
bird-watching tower is also used for BBQ’s and sunbathing, etc. Apart from many
species of birds, the property abounds with butterflies and wildlife, including
tapirs and coatimundi. There is
also evidence of Maya occupancies on the land.
The property is
located on the road to the Mountain Pine Ridge and is about 12 miles from San
Ignacio. The friendly and picturesque Maya village of San Antonio is close by.
This is a turn-key
sale and there is also a tour company that may be purchased separately.
